Celebrate Independence Day with our special Presto Picnic Package, which
includes a concert ticket in the Terrace level (a $52 value), a picnic

If there are enough
people interested, we should all be meeting up in Irvine to enjoy a nice
evening picnic, some good music and spectacular fireworks display.

Santa Barbara French Festival |
For
those interested in going, this next meeting will decide whether there
is enough interest from people going to make a Club Event, if there is;
we will go on Saturday, July 12, 2008. So, please show up at the next
meeting so that we can do a head count so that we are able to coordinate
ride share and or a meeting place. If not, you are all welcome to
partake in the event on your own. C'est La Vie!
If there are enough people
interested, we should all be in Santa Barbara for this event!

Beach Party |
This Beach Party is opened to all Club members, the Club will provide
FREE food and drinks. Food served will be hamburgers, hot dogs, chips &
dips, SMORES and perhaps if we ALL ask Rodger Abercrombie nicely,
perhaps we can convince him to make his FAMOUS FISH TACO's, as well!
Drinks will be soda's...this event will be held at a public beach and NO
ALCOHOL is allowed. The Club will not take responsibility for any
Individual Actions if they choose to ignore the rules. PARTY at your
own RISK!

We have chosen Sport Chalet because at this moment they are running a
25% discount in June for tuition. We are registered as the HB Ski Club
Divers in Training...LOL...

For the people that have stated that they definitely wanted to get this
done, you need to make your way over to Sport Chalet in Huntington Beach
before June 30, 2008 to fill out paperwork, liability waivers and pay
for the tuition class. Ask for Andrea or if she is not there just go to
the SCUBA department and tell them you are with the HB Ski Club and is
there to sign up for the tuition. The total price is
$123.75 before 6/30/08.
Once, we get everyone to sign up and pay for tuition, we will pick our
own ORIENTATION DATE with our PRIVATE TUTOR. Since, this month is such
a hectic month, what with our end of year party at Zubies and our White
Water Rafting Trip, what do you guys think about starting our classes in
July or maybe August...we can discuss this further at the next Club
Meeting on a good Orientation Date for everyone, usually requires 3
hours of your time on a weekday after 6:00PM.
